Reaching Heights, Website and Mobile App Case Study

This was created while completing the Google UX Design Certificate: Design an app for social good.

Reaching Heights is a social good app that teaches youth about nutrition by growing food in a community garden. It provides educational content, garden planning tools, and a community forum. It benefits youth in underserved communities by providing access to healthy food, nutrition knowledge, hands-on learning, and a sense of community.

01

Problem

Young people in underserved communities often have less access to healthy food and nutrition education. This can lead to health problems such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease later in life.

02

Solution

A social good application that teaches youth about nutrition by growing food in a community garden can help to address this problem. The app would provide educational content on nutrition and gardening, as well as a platform to connect with others who are interested in growing food.
